Situated in a bowl high above the Continental Divide at 13,050 feet, Arapahoe Basin is said to be the highest skiiable terrain in North America. Due to this incredible elevation the ski season here is long and frequently extends into June and occasionally July or August.
Although smaller in overall size with only 490 skiiable acres, this bowl offers challenging terrain with 40% of runs designated as 'expert', 45% as intermediate and the remaining 15% as beginner.
Onsite accommodations are not available at the base of the mountain but a host of lodging choices exists in Keystone.
The resort offers childcare facilities offering services to children aged one to three years.
